morning wisdom from Eva

We were at the kitchen table and I was relaying to Eva what I needed to do to get ready for church. I needed to get out of my pyjamas and get my clothes on. Then I mentioned that my hair was pokey too. She said, "yeah you need a shower" I commented that I didn't want to have a shower because then my hair would be all wet and cold (we walk to the bus on Sunday mornings and it is COLD today). She said,

"Yeah, and then you wouldn't look good for church, you'd look like a damp doughnut"

Good point. I would never want to look like a damp doughnut. Especially not at church.
