when to step in

I am sitting by Anders' bed while he settles down for his nap. I'm happily reading and researching on the internet. But, my super-mom ears can hear - water, lots of water. And it sounds like it's in the living room. This could be bad.

After quickly peeking I discovered that they are washing the living room windows - as a surprise for me. I know that there will be lots of spills, and I want to just rush out there and confiscate their bucket and rags... but I'm back with Anders now. I'll deal with the water mess later.

My windows did need washing.
